Previously represented only under the umbrella of the City of Lacey, they sought to establish their own distinct identity.

Branding

The new logo incorporates Mt. Rainier’s distinctive shape as the backdrop for Lacey’s diverse and expansive landscape.

Along with their overall Parks brand, we developed sub-brands for each division. We gave them their own logos and color palettes that are cohesive, consistent, and clearly represent the spirit and mission of the department as a whole.

Website

The goal for the Lacey Parks website was to inspire users to explore, introducing them to new parks and programming, and helping them understand the breadth of the department’s offerings. 

It was also important for the website to be practical and intuitive to navigate, with functionality specifically built in for key services, such as registering for classes and finding location-specific information.
